Assembly review before your design reaches production (DFM)

We assess your existing electronics design against our assembly process and identify risks worth reviewing before production starts.

Schemat konsultacji produkowalności: projekt przechodzi analizę ryzyk, której wynikiem jest opinia montażowa.Manufacturability review diagram: your design undergoes a risk analysis, resulting in an assembly review.

Review your design before the first assembly run or a later revision

We review existing documentation when you want to reduce the risk of an unsuccessful iteration or difficulties during assembly.

You are preparing your first assembly run

You have a completed design and want to review it for assembly on our production line.

You are introducing another PCBA revision

You want to assess whether changes in the new version create additional production difficulties.

You are returning to production after a previous issue

You want to clarify risks related to a component, pitch or inspection before returning the design to the production line.

How we prepare an assembly review

First, we get to know the project context, then we relate it to our process and provide specific feedback.

/01

We get to know your design

You send the documentation and describe the planned assembly and current project stage.
/02

We assess your design against our process

We compare the provided materials with assembly capabilities and identify any risks or potential changes worth considering.
/03

We share our findings before production

You can address our feedback before assembly starts or submit the current version of your design for a quote.
/ numbers

Our review is based on actual production line capabilities

We do not assess your design using a generic checklist. We compare it with our production line capabilities, supported component packages and available inspection methods.

0402

This is the standard component size for our current line.

0.5 mm

This is a pitch we can comfortably handle. Designs with a 0.4 mm pitch require additional validation.

460×380 mm

This is the maximum board size supported by the Pick and Place line.

The Techbit team's responsive communication and technical expertise enable efficient delivery of both smaller, straightforward electronics projects and those that are more technically complex.

Check whether your design is ready for an assembly review

checkmark

You have an existing PCB design

We base our assessment on existing documentation, not on the device concept itself. Please send over any available materials, and we will confirm the exact requirements for the evaluation once we have reviewed your project.

checkmark

You can identify the project stage or a specific risk

Please let us know whether you are preparing an initial assembly, a subsequent revision, or addressing a specific manufacturability issue. This allows us to align our feedback with the appropriate design decision.

checkmark

You need an assembly assessment, not a full design

We can suggest modifications regarding the assembly of an existing design. We do not design PCBs from scratch, and our feedback should not be considered a comprehensive, tool-based DFM analysis.

SMT and THT assembly

If the documentation is complete, compare it against the SMT and THT assembly parameters.

Request an assembly review for your design

Send a project description and the available files through our quote request form. We will confirm what information we need for the next stage of assessment.

An assembly review helps assess whether an existing PCB design can be assembled using our production process before manufacturing starts. We identify potential assembly risks and base our recommendations on the actual capabilities of our line, helping you decide on further work or submit your design for an assembly quote.
